We use StyleShoots primarily to shoot our Ecomm Catalogue images, as well as for social, in-store marketing & EDMs. The biggest benefit we’ve found is not requiring a photographer. From a cost point of view, it’s great, but it also means we are much more flexible when booking shoots: previously we had to ensure we had a full days’ worth of product to lock in a shoot, and sick days/schedule changes were difficult. Now we can be much more flexible in what and when we shoot. Our stylists are able to be more in control and are developing their skills. Turnaround is much faster, too, with countered images being provided straight out of camera for our internal clients. It’s also easier to get consistency as the cameras are in a fixed location, so our overlays are always accurate and quick to set up. It’s incredibly easy to use, even with no knowledge of the machine or photography. If you have an ongoing supply of product to be shot, I’d suggest going into a showroom and having a play – for us, it was a no brainer.
