Profoto Elevate
Profoto Elevate is our newest automated studio solution, sitting alongside Profoto StyleShoots™ Live as a second option for on-model and large product content. Built around a Canon EOS R5 with a 24-105mm L lens on a 3-axis motorised camera pole, Elevate captures both stills and video in the same shoot, controlled entirely from an iPad running Profoto’s ProStudio software. It connects wirelessly to Profoto’s AirX-enabled lights and modifiers, giving your stylist full creative control over lighting without leaving the iPad. Files export ready to use, in JPG, PNG, TIFF, RAW, MP4 and MOV.

Profoto Elevate takes care of the camera and editing crew so your stylist can focus on the shoot. Adjust lighting with a swipe of a finger on the iPad and watch the result update instantly, then let Elevate handle the capture, editing and export.

Adjust lighting, camera position and settings from the iPad, and Profoto Elevate handles the rest — moving the camera, capturing stills and video, and applying your saved presets so every shoot looks consistent. The embedded Mac runs Profoto’s ProStudio Core software, with an Ethernet connection for remote support and software updates. Files can be shared across your network with ProStudio Drive or saved straight to USB.

Canon EOS camera
Profoto Elevate is built on an industrial steel and aluminium enclosure with locking castor wheels, so it’s easy to move around your studio. The camera pole houses the camera, computer, electronics and power management in one compact footprint, with the iPad held on an integrated swivel arm.
AirX
Wireless Profoto lighting
Elevate connects wirelessly to Profoto’s AirX-enabled flashes and a wide range of light shaping tools, so your stylist can adjust the light without stepping away from the model. It’s the same creative control as an off-camera studio setup, built into an automated machine.

Profoto Elevate weighs 90kg and stands 198cm tall on locking castor wheels, so it’s built to stay in one spot in your studio or move between sets as your shoot demands. Every camera move, light setting and preset is controlled from the iPad — no separate crew required.
